Meals on Wheels - Older Adult Alternatives of Fairfield County, Inc.

Serving Fairfield County, OH Seniors since 1973

SPECIAL NOTICE & THANK YOU!

The Fraternal Order of Eagles Bremen Aerie 3657 has made a $2,000 donation to our Agency.  Our Director of Operations, Lisa Cheeseman talked to Gene Strum, a representative of the group, as to their desired use for this generous gift.  When she explained the MIKEE Program he was delighted to have their donation be used for such a worthwhile purpose.  The MIKEE Pets Fund is for existing low income clients.

This generous donation will help our low income pet owners pay for veterinarian care, help prevent flea infestations, and on-going flea control.  It will help pay for emergency boarding for a dog or cat should the need arise.

Clients who live alone and have no family may require temporary  hospitalization.  What a comfort to know their beloved pet is safe while they work to recover.

The dogs and cats who are loved by our low income older adults send a loud & happy “Bark, Bark, Meow, Meow” to Gene Sturm, Ron Fisher, and Neil Boch and the Bremen Eagles for their gift.

The Board of Trustees and Faculty of Meals on Wheels extend their heartfelt appreciation also.  It is folks like you who help keep us moving forward.
